After you place your order, we will send you a custom certificate with a unique number that can be applied to direct bookings at Shasta Lakeshore Retreat.

Shasta Lakeshore Retreat – Gift Certificate Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Gift Certificates issued by Shasta Lakeshore Retreat LLC.
- No Expiration: Gift Certificates issued by Shasta Lakeshore Retreat do not expire and retain their full purchased value indefinitely, in accordance with California Civil Code §1749.5.
- Promotional Bonus Value: From time to time, Shasta Lakeshore Retreat may offer promotional or bonus value when purchasing a Gift Certificate. If promotional value is included within a single certificate, the entire certificate will be treated as purchased value and will not expire. Promotional value has no cash value and may not be refunded.
- Redemption: Gift Certificates may be applied toward the cost of any reservation at any of the Shasta Lakeshore Retreat vacation homes, including nightly rates, cleaning fees, additional services, and applicable taxes. The Gift Certificate number must be provided at the time of booking.
- Transferability: Gift Certificates may be transferred to a family member or friend but may not be sold, resold, auctioned, exchanged for cash, or used for commercial purposes. Shasta Lakeshore Retreat reserves the right to limit transferability to protect against fraud or misuse.
- Verification Requirement: To protect our customers and prevent unauthorized use, Shasta Lakeshore Retreat may require verification of:
- The name of the original purchaser, or
- The name of the designated recipient
before honoring or redeeming any Gift Certificate. If the person attempting to redeem the certificate cannot be verified, the certificate will not be honored until verification is completed with the purchaser. Any suspected unauthorized use will immediately place the certificate on hold until verified.
- Lost or Stolen Certificates: Gift Certificates should be treated like cash. Lost or stolen certificates may be replaced at the sole discretion of Shasta Lakeshore Retreat and only if proof of purchase is provided. Shasta Lakeshore Retreat is not responsible for unauthorized use resulting from lost or shared codes.
- No Cash Redemption: Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Any remaining balance may be applied to future reservations.
- Refunds: Gift Certificate purchases are non-refundable. Once issued, the value may only be applied toward stays at Shasta Lakeshore Retreat.
- Booking Policies: All reservations paid using Gift Certificates remain subject to Shasta Lakeshore Retreat’s standard rental terms, conditions, home rules, and cancellation policies.
- Fraud Protection and Misuse: Shasta Lakeshore Retreat reserves the right to refuse, cancel, hold, or investigate any redemption request if fraud, unauthorized transfer, or misuse of a Gift Certificate is suspected. Certificates obtained by fraud or unauthorized resale will be considered void.
