Shasta Lakeshore Retreat
Due to our growing list of wonderful returning guests, the Summer of 2021 is booking up fast with only about 30% of the days in June through August still available. July 21, 2020: Shasta County Supervisors approves Vacation Rental Ordinance showing support for this important lodging option for families visiting the area.
For the past 3 years, Shasta County Supervisors and others have been reviewing Vacation Rentals. Some that opposed this option wanted to eliminate them or at least restrict to a point they would not be able to operate.
Although they were never illegal, the recently implemented ordinance officially recognizes Vacation Rentals as an important lodging option for families who want to visit this great recreational area.
Lori and Dave would like to thank all our wonderful guests that spoke up. Fortunately, we now know with certainty that we can continue to rent out the homes when we are not using them. We look forward to all the years to come.
We always offer a full refund outside of 60 days. Within 60 days we will refund if we can find another renter. Currently we have a sizable wait list for Summer 2020 (especially July and August) so if you don’t feel comfortable because of COVID spikes, let us know as soon as possible and we will try to find a different guest. PLEASE DO NOT WAIT to the last week and expect us to be able to rebook it. We will only offer the refund if we can rebook. Contact Lori at loriraun@comcast.net or 925-200-6938.

We created a document that provides information and maps on our four favorite ATV trails near our lakefront home. This is great fun year around.
Demand for vacation rentals was very high this year as families were looking for safe alternatives. We do not really have anything left other than a few openings in September and October: (UPDATED 8-24-2020)
