Shasta Lakeshore Retreat
Yes, we have remained open through the crisis. Although we had many cancellations for the Spring, many of the days ended up as last minute bookings with families and very small groups wanting to escape their homes for a break. We have made Retreat 1 available for this time.
The fresh mountain air and no crowds make it ideal during this difficult time. Good availability still in May (next day available May 4th) and early June (June 1-11).

We are pretty booked up but we do have a few openings for the Summer. September is your best bet. The weather is like June/July but rates are lower and fewer people. This includes (UPDATED 6/8/2020):

Thanks to support of many of you with your letters and phone calls to the supervisors of Shasta County, we successfully encouraged them to relax the Short Term Rental Ordinance that they were putting in place. They realized the importance of this unique lodging for this area. Although the latest much better guidelines are still not signed because of delays with the COVID 19 matter, we expect this to conclude in the coming months. The bottom line is that it will NOT impact anything we are doing or offering. There is no change to our max number of guests at our homes. Most of the other rules they plan to implement are rules we have always had in place. Again, thank you.
The renovation of Retreat 3, our latest lakefront home went great. We think this home might end up being the most popular of the three with its unique end of street location which is closer to the water and has much more lakefront than our other two. It features 5 bedrooms with 3 of them on the main floor. New wood floors on lower level and new carpet on the upper floor.
Thanks for the many of you that trusted that we would upgrade it to a similar standard as our other two homes. For this reason, it is booked up about the same as the other two.

We recently went on a 22 mile ATV ride on a good trail all the way to Trinity Lake starting from a trail head a few miles from here. It was a great ride with beautiful views of Trinity Lake and the Trinity Alps.
We also found a trail that goes all the way to the upper McCloud arm of Shasta Lake. It was 26 miles one way.
So many great trails in the area.
Looks like we will have an alomost full lake again for the 5th year in a row. The current water level for is 27 feet from the top and climbing.
